Membership

The 2008 Membership Fee to the Carrick Castle Boat Club is £10.00 per annum per household plus a one off joining fee of £1. Annual membership and mooring fees must be paid by 15th December as The Crown Estate accounting period for moorings now is 1st January to 31st December annually. New club moorings will be invoiced at £35.00 per mooring. Invoices will next be sent out in November 2008 for payment no later than 15th December 2008.

The Crown Estate mooring tags that were issued to members in March 2005 and later are valid for five years. Members still have to pay their mooring fees annually however. If a member no longer wishes to have a mooring, The Crown Estate mooring tag must be returned to the club for return to The Crown Estate and the mooring must be removed from the seabed by 31st December prior to commencement of the new financial year.

Members will be entitled to the reduced mooring fees that the club obtains from The Crown Estate and may join any of the schemes or events of the club. To become a member of the Carrick Castle Boat Club you do not have to own a mooring. You can be an Associate Member paying £5.00 per annum. Only one full member per household is entitled to vote.

The club will arrange a number of social events throughout the year; there will be another Boat Muster at Swine's Hole at 12 noon on 10th August 2008 where all had great fun in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Check the gallery for pictures of those events.
